Western Australia
The Zero Emission Vehicle Rebate Scheme (the rebate) is a financial incentive to encourage the purchase of zero emission vehicles as part of the Government's Clean Energy Car Fund.
Northern Territory
To support the uptake of electric vehicles in South Australia, the government is providing a $3,000 subsidy and a 3-year registration exemption on eligible new battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles first registered from 28 October 2021.
Queensland
Expressions of interest (EOI) are open for Queensland’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure Scheme (the Scheme).
Co-funding of up to $3 million of the Total Project Value (TPV) is available to eligible entities. The Queensland Government has committed $10 million under the Scheme.
The final co-funding amount to be offered for Charging Sites must be below the maximum cap of 50 percent of the TPV (that is, for all charging sites on the application).
If one, or multiple proposed charging sites are not successful within Stage One of an application, this may result in revised co-funding amounts offered for proposed charging sites. The revised offer and amount will be determined by QRIDA and is not negotiable.
Funding under the Scheme is only to be used for all costs associated with capital costs of purchasing equipment (including Charging Stations and energy storage), and costs to install and commission EV fast charging site/s.
QRIDA is administering the Scheme on behalf of the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
New South Wales
The NSW Government is making EVs more affordable for the people of NSW by reducing the upfront cost for the first 25,000 eligible EVs sold.
This incentive will make purchasing an EV more affordable for motorists.

Australian Capital Territory
The ACT Government offers generous incentives for people and businesses thinking about buying a ZEV.
If you’re buying a ZEV for the first time, you may not have to pay stamp duty.
If you buy a ZEV, new or used, you’ll get 2 years’ free ACT vehicle registration.
Eligible households can access up to $15,000 to buy a ZEV under the Sustainable Household Scheme zero interest loans.
